Pros and Cons

The two MicroSDXC cards are very similar, perhaps these pros and cons will help clear up any other doubts you may have.

Samsung Evo Select

Samsung Evo Select

Pros:

  • It’s very reliable and will last for years
  • It’s easy to use
  • We were impressed about how well it worked on so many different devices

Cons:

  • You may have to format it to exFAT

Samsung Evo Plus

Samsung Evo Plus

Pros:

  • Good transfer speed
  • Ideal for Nintendo Switch
  • Top-quality videos

Cons:

  • Some people have received non-authentic Samsung MicroSDXC cards.

The Final Verdict

This is a really close call because essentially, they are nearly the same memory card. In terms of speed, we didn’t notice much of a difference so we weren’t swayed by this, which is the only really significant difference.

We decided that the Samsung Evo Select was slightly better but more than anything it was because we preferred the color. We would recommend either of these MicrosSDXC cards but perhaps you should choose the color that is different to the SD card you already have, that way you can easily distinguish them.
