The Final Verdict

It was a difficult decision. On paper, the technology all sounds great but when it comes to riding a hoverboard the main things you’re looking for is comfort, ease of use, and reliability. Both the Razor Hovertrax 2.0 and the Swagtron Pro T1 provided this. The LED lights were great and when we tested the battery, range and speed with the same rider, there wasn’t a huge difference, the Razor Hovertrax 2.0 did come out slightly on top for this.

We were swayed by the amount of use you will get out of the hoverboards. If you or your children tend to use something to the death in the first month and then only take it out once in a while, you are better off with the Swagtron Pro T1. It’s an excellent hoverboard for the price and you won’t feel guilty about not using it so often. On the other hand, if you are planning to use your hoverboard regularly, we recommend the Razor Hovertrax 2.0. It’s great being able to change the battery so that you can keep riding and we felt that it is a smoother ride.
