The Final Verdict

When you have these two Dell monitors side by side, there isn’t a great deal that makes either one stand out. It is hard to tell any difference between the quality of the picture and the bright colors. The U2718Q had slightly brighter whites which was nice. The size of the screen is the same, but it is nice that the Dell U2718Q is a little lighter. The thin bezel is a little sleeker too.

There is only one reason why we would choose the Dell P2715Q and that is if you need to daisy chain your monitors. For every other reason, we would choose the U2718Q. We loved how easy it was to set up and worked just as well with Mac and Windows. The viewing angle is superb, and it was very cool that you can spin the screen around- instead of your head! The picture quality is exceptional as is the range of color and it does help being quite a bit cheaper.
