The Final Verdict
It is true that both the LG WM8100hva and the LG WM9000hva are beautifully designed and you would be proud to show them off. We felt that they had an excellent range of settings and we were able to wash clothes, towels, bedding, even things like sofa covers with no problems. The capacity is definitely well suited to large families.
We appreciated all of the technology. At first, we didn’t think it would make that much of a difference but, for example, the cold wash setting worked very well, and you couldn’t tell that the clothes hadn’t been washed in warm water.
All of the items we washed came out clean, stain-free and smelling fresh, which is really what you want in a washing machine.
Our problem came down to the price. Knowing that LG is a leading brand in electro domestics, we expected to pay more. For the option to use Wi-Fi, you are looking at around $500 more. For us, that was a lot of money to be able to activate your washing machine from your phone or with your voice. We have survived for decades turning washing machines on with our hands, and for this reason, the LG WM8100hva is today’s winner.
