The Fenix PD35
It has a 2600mAh rechargeable battery which is included. This means that on a turbo setting, the battery will last for 2 hours and 50 minutes. When using the Eco mode, the battery will last for 430 hours.
The Surefire E2D
It comes with 2 CR123A batteries and luckily comes with 4 extra batteries because the flashlight requires 4. In a high setting, the batteries will last 2 hours and 45 minutes. On a low, they will last for 63 hours.

Lumen and Settings
We have already mentioned that the maximum lumen for both is 1000, but they do have different settings.
The Fenix PD35
There are 5 settings, Turbo- 1000, high- 350, med- 150, low- 50, and eco- 3. The settings are adjusted by turning the tail cap. This flashlight also has a strobe setting which is operated by a stainless-steel side switch.
The Surefire E2D
There are only 2 settings, again changing between the two by turning the tail cap. Aside from 1000 lumen on high, there is a low setting of 5 lumens.

Durability
To ensure you can use your flashlight in a range of situations, it needs to be as durable as possible.

It has a waterproof rating of IP68 and can be submerged in up to 2 meters of water. It also impacts resistance up to 1 meter.

The aluminum body has a type III mil-spec hard anodized coating. It is resistant to abrasions and corrosion in bad weather.

We were slightly disappointed in the price as it is more than twice as expensive as the Fenix PD35. It also comes with a lifetime warranty when you buy it from Surefire.

Pros and Cons
Before our final verdict, here are some pros and cons of the Fenix PD35 and the Surefire E2D.

We have a clear winner today. The Fenix PD35 is an amazing flashlight for an excellent price. We loved the various settings and even the strobe light was easy to use and quite handy. At first, recharging the battery was a little awkward but it didn’t take long to get used to it. After that, it was great being able to charge it with the USB cable, even from your car. We made sure that it was actually waterproof and impact-resistant, and the materials proved to be of great quality. We loved that it came with everything you needed.
