The Pen

With each of these, you will receive a pen that is designed for that tablet or monitor. The pens are battery-free. They both have the latest technology and have amazing 8,192 levels of pressure, so they are incredibly sensitive. You will also appreciate the 60º tilt on the pens, making it more accurate and natural.

Speed

One thing that has improved with digital drawing is the speed at which the image appears once the pen has made contact with the screen. The Wacom Intuos Pro has virtually lag-free tracking and the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 comes with a 266 PPS Report Rate.

LPI

The LPI is how the resolution is measured, it stands for Lines Per Inch. The higher the number the finer the resolution. Typical newsprint will have an LPI of around 80. The Final Verdict

In the first place, we really liked the overall feel of the Wacom Intuos Pro. It was lightweight, easy to carry around with you and the materials felt of good quality and overall, it’s a sturdy drawing tablet. The Huion Kamvas Pro 13 was just a tad heavier but the size was larger. It also felt well built and the anti-glare feature was a real bonus.

Many of the specifications, such as the resolution, sensitivity, and speed of the pen were the same. We also felt that the connectivity and system requirements didn’t affect our decision either. Both came with everything you need to start straight away and there wasn’t enough of a difference in the price to make a difference.

The overall winner today is the Wacom Intuos Pro. We liked having more options to customize the express keys. We also liked being able to zoom and rotate with our fingers like you would on a normal tablet. The paper feature is great, if you want to be able to use the pen on more than just the tablet, however, we decided that it wasn’t the decider as the main use would be for digital drawing. The greatest advantage for us was using the drawing tablet wirelessly. When you add this onto the amazing features, the Wacom Intuos Pro is a wonderful piece of technology for kids, students, hobbyists, and professionals.
