The Final Verdict
The Edifier Luna Eclipse e25 and the Edifier Luna Eclipse e25HD are both stunning speakers sets in all three colors. We liked the shape and eight and sat nicely at our workstations. We also think the size suited most rooms in the home. The touch controls were also a nice feature that added a bit of elegance compared with traditional buttons and dials.
The Edifier Luna Eclipse e25HD does have the better Bluetooth but we actually didn’t notice that much of a difference.
What made the difference for us was the digital optical connection and sound quality. There was more clarity to the higher sounds and the bass was more apparent. There was also slightly more warmth to the voices but still nice and crisp. We really weren’t expecting such a good quality of sound and volume from these speakers and it was enough to compensate the additional cost, making the Edifier Luna Eclipse e25HD the overall winner today.
