The Razor MX350 and the Razor MX400 both have a 350W electrical motors- They are extremely quiet, high-torque chain-driven motors. The handlebars are equipped with rubber sleeves for twist grip throttle control.

The Final Verdict

The one thing we should clear up is the recommended age of these two motocross dirt bikes. Razor has the age at 12 and 13 however these are both very small for that age group and although they can handle the weight, it appears that they are both great starter bikes for 6 to 7-year old’s, maybe up to 10.

These are definitely excellent start bikes for riders who have mastered a normal bike and are looking for something a little extra. The brakes and throttles are easy to control which provides peace of mind for parents.

The Razor MX350 and the Razor MX400 are very similar. The design of both bikes is great and provides a real feel when you are riding them. The battery life is good for both of them, and in some of our tests, we got more than 30 minutes of riding time.

Today’s winner is the Razor MX400. You do get a little extra for your money in terms of speed and we liked the slightly larger wheels. Overall, the Razor MX400 was also more reliable and there were fewer issues with durability.
