Logitech Z625

Pros:

  • The bass is very good, and the treble is also impressive
  • There is no distortion when you turn the volume up
  • The quality of the cables is better

Cons:

  • It would be nice if they had Bluetooth connectivity.

Final Verdict

It is definitely safe to say that Logitech has produced two very fine 2.1 speaker systems with the Logitech Z623 and the Logitech Z625. They are both definitely more than you would expect for their price range. We found the sound to be above excellent in terms of crispness and quality, especially for movies and a great gaming experience. You can really tell the difference between these and other systems that aren’t THX certified.

The size and design of the powerful subwoofer and satellite speakers were just right for most setups. Realistically, there was not enough difference in the size or weight to make a difference in the decision. The subwoofers look very sleek with perfectly straight edges but be careful not to knock yourself or the corners because it will hurt.

As the two Logitech speaker systems were so similar, it was a difficult choice. We appreciated the longer warranty with the Logitech Z623 but as they are so reliable, it wasn’t something that we considered a huge advantage. Today’s winner is the Logitech Z625 because of the additional optical input and cable. It provides another high-quality connection so you can make the most of fiber optics.

1 thought on “Logitech Z623 vs Z625: Which Speaker System is Better?”

  1. The on off button on my Z623s is going bad, which is weird because its always on and I couldnt have wore out the button from use. I can just be watching videos and suddenly my audio starts crackling and goes off. It took me a little bit to figure out what was going on, but if I touch the off/on button then the sound starts playing again. Just touching that button the sound will crackle, get distorted, or go out. How can this button be so weak that it gets faulty even when you never use it? But anyway thats why Im here looking for comparisons because they are a great set of speakers. The Logitech Z560s RGB speakers are a joke. Hated them and gave them away. If the Z625s are as good as the Z623s, Id definitely buy them especially when I can put the optical audio to use.
