Pros:

  • It will remember the position of the extruder if there is a power cut, so you don’t have to start again
  • Great value for money

Cons:

  • The temperature bed isn’t as hot as we would like, struggles with ABS printing

Creality CR10

Creality CR 10

Pros:

  • The detail of the print is amazing
  • Perfect for those who want to print much larger objects
  • The glass bed is easy to remove

Cons:

  • It takes much longer for the bed to heat up

The Final Verdict

Considering there was not a huge difference in the price, we decided that the CR10 was the better Creality 3D printer. While we preferred the Creality Ender 3 for its appearance, the Creality CR10 outperformed it. That being said, it’s a real shame that the Creality CR10 doesn’t come with the technology to remember where the extruder is when there is a power cut.

We felt that the temperature of the Creality CR10 was much hotter, even though it took longer to heat up. We also noticed that it was slightly faster at printing. When you add this to the great detail and the larger printing size,  the Creality CR10 is a fantastic 3D printer all-round.
